Practice-based researcher and moving-image artist working at the intersection of videographic criticism, essay film, and embodied moving-image practice. Doctoral research at Queen Mary University of London (submission September 2026) develops the video essay as a method for analysing masculinity and metaphor in pre- and post-9/11 US cinema. Current research extends videographic methodology toward the conditions — technical, contractual, and apparatus-based — under which contemporary screen bodies/sounds/genders appear.
